    Aquis Date 40mm

I've been looking at getting an oris diver for a little while now, but every time I try on the 43 - 44mm model they are just a bit to big for small sub 7" wrist (jokes can start now). So looking on the oris website I came across the 40mm Aquis but I can find anytime on the web about this model. Can anyone help me out with some information and pictures of this model. Thanks

As you probably know the standard Aquis is 43mm and anyone wanting a smaller version had to go for the 36mm "ladies" Aquis (Oris's name for the watch) but they have brought out the 40mm version just recently so pictures of it are a bit thin on the ground. Its number is 01 733 7676 4154-07 8 21 10P and as far as I know it is the same as the 43mm watch only smaller so pics of the 43mm watch should be the same as the 40mm one. The best source of information will be the Oris website (I've never said that before). The movement in the Aquis is, I believe, based on the Sellita SW200-1 and you need have no worries about it. 3 of my watches have the SW200 in them and they haven't missed a beat (no pun intended)

I Googled this exact phrase "01 733 7676" and it came up with a website selling this watch - including photos. I am not going to post a link since the dealer is not a sponsor and I know nothing about them., and I didn't want to copy their photo here - copyright stuff, etc. However, if you Google that phrase, you will find the link and can check it out for yourself for all those that interested.

fbd223, I'm going to PM you a link so you can check it out.

I can't wait to see a side-by-side of the 40mm vs 43mm. I, too, have a small(ish) wrist and might have pursued a 40mm if I had not already fallen in love with my 43mm. Such an amazing watch.

Exact same issue for me. I’ve got a 43 that I love. If the new black with orange indices is available in 40mm, I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to resist.
