    Artix Date 39 vs 42....

    Hello All,

I have been considering the Artix Date (blue dial on bracelet) and am unsure between the 42 vs 39mm case. My wrist is 7.25". The dealer several miles from me does not currently have any in stock to try on and I'd most likely purchase online. Does anyone here have a wrist shot of the 39mm to post? Have seen some photos of the 42mm on wrist and looks like it might wear a bit large. Thank you.

Tried to get a quick wrist shot for you. This is the 42mm and wears very large because of how far the face reaches to the edge. I would go 38 even with larger wrists.
    I have 6.5 wrists.

BTW, I'm looking to sell or trade my Artix if anyone has interest.

Thank you Leonine for posting the photo. I had an Eterna Kontiki Date a while back with 42mm case and although it fit my 7.25" wrist just fine, felt it looked a bit large overall and ended up flipping after wearing only a couple of times. Just wonder if there are any owners on this forum who have the 39mm version who might comment.

The bracelet will help the watch not seem too large since lug length isn't as noticeable on a bracelet. That said, on a dressy watch with Roman Numerals, if in doubt, I'd go smaller...

While I've recently come to terms with watches over 40mm (there are too many great watches in the 41mm range to rule them out completely anymore), I always prefer something in the 38mm range.

Count me as a vote for the 39mm.

    Hi there

I am looking to buy the same watch though in the silver version.

My wrist is 7.75 in and I tried on the 42mm with the silver dial and I think it's too big on me.

If you want I can upload a photo but I know it's the 39mm you really want to see. I'd like to see that one too! I have the shop looking for one for me at the moment.

Here's a shot of the silver dialed Artix date 42mm on my 7.75in (19.5cm) wrist. Excuse the lighting!

By any chance, did you pull the trigger on the blue 39mm Artix? Looks like I'm where you were 2 months ago. I'm looking at it on (no grey market) for $929. I would like to add a non-black, non-white/silver dial dress watch and this blue seems intriguing enough to stand out but not too bright.

Anyways, if you bought one, post some pics or let me know if you went a similar but different route with your decision. Thanks
