    Question BC3 Sportsman bracelet question

I am considering getting one of these discontinued models.

Does the bracelet links adjust (remove) by pins/collars) aka; Omega, Seiko?

    Thanks

    John

Hi John, the links on the BC3 bracelet are removable by unscrewing tiny pins. I think that there are about 3 either side of the clasp (which has micro adjustments on it) make sure that the screwdriver you use fits the screws exactly because watch manufacturers sometimes use some Loctite on the threads and can be a bit generous with it. Oris are no exception.

    sticky and John,
If I have screws that are tight on the bracelet I run them under really hot water before trying again to remove them. I have fund this method works well. Cheers, Bill P.

Bill, a poster once mooted putting a soldering iron on reluctant screws. Just the idea of placing a soldering iron near one of my bracelets brings me out in a cold sweat.

I'm like you, sticky, I would not be comfortable putting a soldering iron on my bracelet screw. Cheers, Bill P.
