Beset Way to adjust an Oris Rubber Strap??

Just picked up an Oris diver with a rubber strap and am looking for how best to adjust the strap?
Look like you cut it to the desired length - is that right? and what is the best tool for this?
    Thanks, jd

I use an Exacto knife to size mine. Be sure to measure twice and cut once.

I usually cut one segment at a time and remeasure. It takes more time, but if you cut off too much, you're done and you are buying a new strap.

Which model watch did you buy? Some divers (Aquis and ProDiver) don't require cutting.

The TT1 strap does need to be cut. Measure twice and cut once. Cut it one section at a time using a box cutter type knife (I would say a Stanley knife but there's a good chance only people from the U.K. would know what I'm on about). It may seem like a lot of messing about cutting it one section at a time but there are dozens of folks who have cut straps too short.

One small caveat....make sure the clasp is adjusted for the climate ie maximum length if its hot where you are or minimum length if its cold given you don't want to find that you cut too much off when summer comes around and its too tight and not have any adjustment left in the clasp.
