Blue Aquis arrived today… more photos added

My blue Aquis arrived today. Oh my, what a beautiful watch! This is my first Oris, but likely not my last. Cheers, Bill P.

That's a stunner BP! I love that first pic, I want to send you a couple of mine to photograph the same way!
I think if I were to create the perfect watch in my head it would turn out very similar to that. Love the navy bezel and dial, clean 3 hand auto, date at 6, easy to read dial and bezel, 120 click bezel with nice machined outter edge, great clasp, bracelet is smooth and sturdy, great overall size, perfect sized crown guard without being too obtrusive, applied indices without numerals, nice lume, micro adj clasp, etc. I don't see a single negative aspect and don't trust a guy that can find one!

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen on my photos. I use a Panasonic Lumix LX5 (a small pocket camera) that is 4 or so years old. The camera is tripod mounted and I use the timer for shutter release. I often use a light box as well.

Our "old Pro" photographer told me once that the secret to good photography is to take a lot of photos and only show the good ones! I try to practice what he taught me!

BTW, I do shoot a Nikon D800 and have a lot of good Nikkor lenses, but find that my little Lumix still does a great job for me with watch photos. Cheers, Bill P.

Thanks for posting yet more first class photos Bill. If ever you see any of mine they are truly terrible - and believe me when I say that they are the good ones.
