Down to only two 40mm Aquis variants on the Oris website...

...just the black and white ceramic are left, it looks like the grey dial/tungsten bezel has been discontinued.

Anyone have any thoughts or speculation on where the 40mm Aquis might be going? I hope they don't discontinue it. I've been waiting for a couple of years for them to add a blue 40mm, but I don't know if it will happen. I can't quite figure it out, because there are now 43mm blue dials and a 36mm blue dial, and the 40mm Aquis has the fewest variants of all the size ranges.

Here's to hoping for additional 40mm Aquis models at Basel next year!
    Cheers,
    Greg

maybe the demand isn't there now, can you even still buy a 40mm black from an AD ?, i have seen some 40's on the grey but at high price.

The 40mm black dial/bezel is still available on the Oris website, so I'm assuming it's available from ADs.

There has been a great deal of demand for a 40mm Aquis on the forums but Oris seem determined to gradually kill it off. Perhaps the damand isn't there for it in the real world.

Just received mine yesterday from btwatches. They didn't have one in stock but they were kind enough to contact Oris who shipped them one of the last ones that they had. They were told by Oris that the 40mm is being discontinued as the 43mm has proven to be more popular. Anyway, I'm very happy with this size as well as the service from Boris at btwatches.

    Great watch, congrats!

That's really too bad if Oris is truly going to discontinue the 40mm Aquis. Makes me think I'd better move on one before they get sold out...

If you want one, I would act now. According to Boris, the Oris "warehouse" only had a couple left. The other dealers I spoke with had never even seen one.

That's a shame, I've been wanting an Oris Aquis for a while now but other purchases always seem to take precedent. I still think the best design was the older TT1 which had a more domed case, but the Aquis is a gorgeous watch.

that is really to bad that the 40's are almost out of stock, i being thinking about it and i dont think my small wrist can adocmate a 43mm, i really want to buy an oris watch but it seems like they keeping killing off everything i liked, the old diver, the cool looking atrix day date, the 37mm classic date, the 40mm atrix day

I have a 40mm aquis. I think for the size it works great as a daily wearer but is a tad small otherwise. I have pretty thin wrists (6.5", rather flat though).
