    First Oris Purchase, thoughts?

I’ve been into watches for some time now, from my first experience dealing with them as an employee of Victorinox back in 2014, and I’ve always been after an Oris Pointer date, ever since I first saw one following Baselworld coverage a few years back. Today, I finally found one in an outlet not far from my home. It’s an Oris Original Pointer Date, I’ll include a photo below. Although it’s not the nicest of the pointer date models, I strangely prefer it, even with the Plexiglass crystal, to the anniversary models, etc. Anybody else have one? I’m absolutely loving it so far, an indescribable feeling to have the first of one of my grail pieces on the wrist. I’m looking for a bracelet to buy for it in the future. Any recommendations? I’m thinking one of the new Komfit bands by Forstner..seriously loving this piece though!!

Not very helpful but I feel that sort of watch looks best on a strap of some flavour.

On those somewhat rare occasions that I’m after a strap I look on the WatchObsession website to find something I like the look of.
It’d look good on a black mock croc IMO.

It’s funny, it’s currently on a mock black croc strap, what it came paired with lol

I’ve always preferred like, soft, pliable leather or suede straps, straps which really hug the wrist.

That's a great looking watch with a classic vibe. Good potential
    to be a strap monster.

Jomashop has dozens of Hadley Roma exotic skin straps on sale
for 75% off. Enjoy the search.

After having many straps, and I am 100% a bracelet guy myself, when looking at leather straps, I recommend Corrigia in Germany, shipping is fast and if you are in the US you also will not pay the VAT, so the listed straps cost less (calculated at checkout) and top quality. I have an older coupon code that may, or may not discount them even further; VIPCLUB - worth a try if you go this route.

Think a JPM in Vintage Black Leather would suit the watch perfectly
