Found a hair inside my new Aquis. Repair or exchange?

I just received a new Aquis and discovered a hair or eye lash stuck between the crystal and interior. I shipped it back the the dealer and asked them to send me a new watch. They said that they could easily open and remove whatever is stuck inside. Should I insist on a new watch, or be content with a quick fix? Otherwise, the watch is beautiful!

If it was me, I would insist on a new watch rather than having them proceed with a quick fix which would entail some form of disassembly of the watch. I hope you get it sorted out.

It's up to you really as the supplier can remove the lash, pressure test your Aquis and return it to you like new. Just make sure they pressure test it though if you opt for removal.

If it's an AD and they open it up, warranty is void.

It's an AD. Thanks for all of the replies. I've asked for a replacement, and will let you know how it works out.

It's a warranty issue, replacement is unlikely.

Update: Dealer replaced the watch, and it's now on my wrist. Thanks everyone for the feedback to my questions. For anyone on the fence about the Aquis in Blue, get it! It's a great looking watch, and the blue is absolutely perfect in my book!
