Just picked up an Oris Prodiver Date...

and I am more than impressed. This watch is incredible. The fit/finish/detail is astounding for the price I paid and for the retail price. The dial is mesmerizing. I keep checking the time every 5 minutes just to gander at it. The rubber strap fits perfectly. This Oris can definitely compete with supposed higher tier brands like Breitling and especially Omega. Sorry, but I don't have any pics just yet.

Congrats. I've always said the Prodiver is one of the best dive watches available at ANY price.

Enjoy your new PD, and hopefully you can get it 'wet' one of these days.

Congrats on your PDD. They are a superb watch aren't they? I've got way more watches than sense and out of them all the PDD is my favourite and I wouldn't be at all surprised if yours filled the same position.

Oris offers great value in a well finished Swiss watch. Congrats on your new Prodiver!

Don't forget to post pics JW. I see mine one every other day but somehow it's not the same as seeing pics of someone else's watch.

Oh yeah. The PDD is sick.

Enjoy that bad boy and wear it in great health bro!

Oh, and yes that rubber strap is incredible. The whole package is incredible and just oozing a wicked tool factor.

    Congrats on the new purchase.

I do have a question for all PDD owners. Did anyone think it was too big before buying and purchase anyway or did you not care at all about the size? If you did buy with thoughts it would be too large how do you feel after owning for a little bit? I like the watch and every time I look at my PDD wall clock I think to myself, "Man, I wish they offered it in 44mm or smaller!"

Oris makes a good watch. I wouldn't put them on planet ocean level but they are excellent and with the rubber strap are ultra light so easy to wear all the time

I would definitely put them on the PO level, as long as you're talking about 8500 POs. If you're talking about 2500 POs, the PDD blows it away. The only thing going for the PO over the PDD is the movement. The rest of the package leans way over to PDD in my opinion.

I was just in a watch shop a few days ago and a lady who sells Omegas, TAGs, etc noticed my PDD and said, "wow that is the most beautiful watch in this store!" She asked if it was expensive and I told her is was a lot cheaper than the 8500 PO and she couldn't believe it.

I always say, don't judge the PDD until you handle one. It's impressive.
