    Looking at an Oris

So I was informed that $700 was way too much to pay for a Quartz by many on this forum. I forgot that Oris has auto's for $1200 or so online and have been eyeballing them quite a bit for a few days. I'm looking between the:

    Oris Divers Date

    Oris Aquis Date (40mm)

    &

    Oris Aquis Date (43mm)

I wear a rather large G-Shock daily so I'm used to a large mm face on my wrist. What would you recommend for a daily wear watch that I can wear with a t-shirt OR suit? I realize the Aquis looks a little more dressy than the Divers Date.

    Thanks

P.S. Sorry I've been posting so much asking for opinions. This is my first $800+ watch purchase and want to get all the info I can from you gentlemen.

Aquis 43mm. This is my Gray dial. Black dial would be a good choice for what you are looking for:

I agree with Mike. The Aquis with a black dial 40 or 43 mm is a great choice.
I know nothing about watches, just what I like.

If you intend to wear it with a suit your best bet is a black dialled Aquis in either 40mm or 43mm. The 44mm Diver Date is one heck of a watch (my wallet wasn't so keen on it) but IMHO the Aquis looks a bit less divey and is hence more suited to dress type wear.

I agree with what has been suggested. The 43mm Aquis date with black dial/black bezel is a great looking watch! I have the blue version as I have a classic Omega Seamaster Professional black which serves me well. IMHO, the Aquis is a great watch and a great value. Cheers, Bill P.

Thanks guys. I went with the Tavannes Ocean Edge. Better price and fits better.
