My first Oris... ProDiver Chronograph just arrived... !

    Hi all,

long time ago since my last posting
Well to be honest there had been some more important things to be taken care of than just talking about watches...
I drastically reduced my watch collection and decided to go for a real dream watch, since it has been released in 2009 - the big ProDiver Chrono
Every time I had enough money to spend on this beast I grabbed another timepiece... so I never got it on my wrist!

But these days I´ve been successful.
I choose a new ProDiver Chrono at 30% discount and you can´t believe I am sooo glad I did so!

Attached please find some impressions of this titan beauty, beside my beloved Seiko MM300.
The ProDiver Chrono just sits fantastic on my wrist (7,7 in) and it weights about 220g. Not too much compared to my Deep Blue Depthmaster 3.000 with its 305g...
The day I received the watch I immediately got it to the next Oris jewellery and let the bracelet get brushed.
This way it really looks even more toolish and not that bling bling.

To make it short: Enjoy the pictures!

Sweet. Not too many guys can wear a 51mm piece without it looking like a clown watch (you must be a big boy ). Congrats.

I love my Prodiver (non-chrono) too.

    @ BrentYYC

The ProDiver Date is also a fantastic diver watch.
By chance I got the Chrono while still having the Date model.
So I was able and in the mood to do a quick comparison between both regarding their dimensions, thickness etc.

My new ProDiver Chrono just wants to say "hello" out from its watchbox.
Typical for a "non atomic time keeping watch" the date didn´t switch to 1st may...

Wow... considering there's only a 2 mm difference in width between the two (49 vs 51) I didn't realize how noticeable it would be be. That's a significant difference in thickness too, and the Date version is no lightweight.

Fabulous looking watch. I already have a PDD and love it to bits and the next watch I plan to buy will be the PDC so I'm just a little bit envious of you. I only have thin wrists and don't doubt that the 51mm PDC will be a tad too big for me but I can wear it O.K. and like it so don't really care if other people think it doesn't suit me.

    @ sticky

believe it or not... the Seiko 300MM weighs 204g, the big titanium Oris weighs only 14 more (218g with two removed links).
It just sits very comfortable on my wrist so it seems to be well balanced.

Btw I don´t care if people say something negative about my watches e.g. due to size, cost etc.
Nevertheless I do appreciate every positive comment!

So enjoy the pics and be happy to get one titanium beast pretty soon!

That is one sexy watch! I love that you brushed it too. I did the same with my Aquis. Congrats and enjoy it!
