Oris Aquis w/ Sunburst dial. Readable?

    Hey all,

For those of you who own or have tried on the Oris Aquis Black bezel/blue sunburst dial, can you comment on the clarity and readability of the dial? I'm shying away from the generic black dial/black bezel because I feel like it might get boring whereas the sunburst looks absolutely amazing in photos. Nevertheless, the constant change in shading and reflection seems like it might make the whole "checking the time" experience annoying depending on lighting conditions.

I've never tried any of the blue watches on but the minute markers are so big and clear that I can't see it being much more difficult to read than the black.

It's plenty readable. It's best to see one in person to make sure you like it. I've owned lots of blue sunburst watches and they've all been fine.
I'm content with my watch collection

I've had both and found no difference in the legibility of either dial.

Thanks for the comment. I found 3-4 nearby Oris AD's so I think I'll make the trip and get a feel for it before buying.
