Oris Big Crown ProPilot Chrono GMT

I heard Oris is no longer making the Propilot Chrono GMT because they were having difficulty getting the movement. Does anyone know if this is true?

Dunno but it sounds like an excuse to me. If other manufacturers can get hold of GMT movements I don't see why Oris can't

Sounds like a stupid excuse, isn't the movement in them based on an ETA 2824? Pretty sure Seagull do a GMT module for their 2824 clone its only 3 or 4 gears or something like that so if they really wanted to keep making it they could buy the additional parts separately (or even make their own) and assemble them on to the movement

    EDIT:

Sorry just realised you said the chrono one so its an SW500 movement

It's true that the watch is no longer in production, that was the answer that two different Ad gave me when I was looking to buy mine you can still find it around but this only existing stock. A user in another tread asked Oris why via email and the answer was they opted to make separate gmt and chronograph pieces instead of all in one.
