    Oris Depth gauge

Sorry if this has been covered.

Im in the market for a new dive watch after being out of the game for a bit. I love dive watches, they work, they are pretty hearty and gear'd up or suit they always look the part. After seeing the Oris depth gauge in the US last year i have a soft spot for it. I usually end up in Omegas but the Aquis Depth gauge has a ton of value for the money.

Anyone with any review on it daily, diving? My only concern is the thickness and the accuracy of its time keeping. My one non Certified watch by Tag was brutal from new with losing and gaining daily compared to my Seamaster

Lastly, i checked the Oris site, didnt see an answer, is the bezel ceramic on these models?

    thanks for the help!

The DG comes brandishing a ceramic bezel and is fitted with a SW200 movement. I think the acceptable variances are -5/+20 SPD though the SW200 in my ProDiver Date keeps near as dammit COSC time.

I had an Aquis I dove with and it kept great time. I love the Depth Gauge but it is just too big on my wrist. Good luck.

The DG is indeed unique, with 46mm case & 15mm thick, it will only suit people with larger wrist.
Furthermore, because it not Titanium like some of their other Pro divers, it is heavy, I mean heavy, it felt heavier than the Seiko MM300 and Rolex Deepsea Sea Dweller when I was at your shop (bracelet) and those watches weigh about 210g.

It felt like 250g of solid SS and can use it like weight belts when diving!!! but DG owners can perhaps put in on a scale so all know
