    parts

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase an insert for my Pro Diver? It is ceramic and it shattered when I smacked my arm against something

    Re: parts

Oris are very protective of their parts supply and will only provide them to authorised repairers. A broken insert may mean a whole new bezel assembly for your PD so make sure you are sitting down when you learn the cost.

not exactly what I wanted to hear but I guess I will bit the bullet and take it to the AD and at least ask. I't no good gluing the 22 pieces back together again. Maybe I can say it is a custom insert made in the art deco mode

The insert is just glued in = that should not require a new bezel assembly.

    Re: parts

Is your PD a 3 hander or a chrono? I ask because the early chronos had a habit of shedding their rubber and if it's one of these it might be worth your while getting the whole lot changed even if you can get an insert.
It only effects the chronos as Oris had got the problem sorted by the time they launched the ProDive Date.

Mine is the newer Pro Dive Date only model and the rubber is hard and seems likely to last a while- thanks much for the info though
