Possible to get watch production number from serial id?

Just out of curiosity - is there a logic or pattern behind the serial numbers Oris uses to ID their watches? Like.. if I'm looking at my watch's serial number, can I find out from it when the watch rolled off the production line, so to speak? (or rather... if my watch was the 123rd, 456th, 789th or 1'234th watch-of-this-model that Oris made?)

Because the pattern for serial number seems to be XX-XXXXX, which doesn't exactly translate to, say, 012/200. (Yes, ofc, this isn't a limited edition piece - just yer basic divers-65, but if they are keeping unique IDs for each of those, they surely got to know which ones rolled out sooner than others, right?)
    Wearing: Borealis Estoril DW-Blue
+ always on wrist: Fitbit Inspire HR

I don't know about the last 5 digits in the serial, but the first 2 give you a year. Something made in 2011 starts with 31-, 2012 with 32-, and so on. The last 5 may have significance but if so I'm not privy to it
