    question on Oris paper

Just purchased an oris watch on eBay and am wondering what paperwork generally comes with the watch when purchased at an AD. I received the box, instruction booklet, tag, and a plastic warranty card (no name or date). Is this the full "paperwork" or is anything missing?

    Thanks for your help.

I bought from non-AD so I didn't get the Oris plastic warranty card, but otherwise, this is exactly what I got as well with mine.

Shouldn’t the plastic warranty card have a date and AD name on it?

The AD name is usually a "stamp" that the AD puts on themselves, is it not ? They don't arrive at the AD with a warranty card specifically for THAT AD. That was my understanding anyways.

I just got mine and it had the white card with model, SN Etc and the black card with the same info but the AD name/stamp and purchase date were left blank. I was able to register on the oris site by the serial number and find the AD on their list of dealers. The book does state the black card needs to be filled out so I wonder if I’ll have any issues if I need work done.

I don’t know if it has to be a stamp - my AD hand wrote their information in that space.

The black warranty cards had a blank space where the store could put their stamp and a separate space where date of purchase could be written in.
Sometime in mid 2018, Oris switched over to a white warranty card whereby the store would activate the warranty online on an Oris app at the time of purchase. These new white cards do not have a space where the store can put their name/stamp or date of purchase.

The store should have just given you the white card, which is the newer Oris warranty card. The black card doesn't really apply anymore, since the store - if it is an Authorised Oris Dealer - should have activated your warranty at the time of purchase.
Either way, you can visit the Oris website and check your warranty status, to see if the store has in fact activated your warranty. Although, if you've registered for the 3rd year warranty, you should be fine.

Hand-written is fine, as some stores don't have a store stamp that they can use. Although, a stamp does look a little more professional than hand-written, IMHO.
