Small second Titan date change problem

    Hi everyone,

My Aquis has a problem in that when I change the date by winding the time forward it doesn't change at 12 oclock. '
Instead it changes at about 7 oclock, everytime it passes 12 oclock when its meant to change the date it just clicks then changes about 7 hours later.
Does anyone know if this is a common problem and how to go about getting it fixed?

    Cheers,
    Willis

    Doesn't sound normal.
If under warranty contact place of purchase or take to an AD or other watchmaker to have the date wheel fixed.

The Titan should clank over at 12 (ish) without any fuss at all so follow 74's advice.

Yup, needs to go in for service and be adjusted. My Titan C changes right at 12.

Had the same issue with a Hami, sent to service and they broke the crown. Had the same issue with another Hami but this time somehow I managed to fix it myself by putting the date in the middle of one date and another, then advancing the hour until 12 oclock and then changing the date back to normal. Do it at your own risk!!!

This seems systematic of changing the date between the late/early hours, you should never change the date while an automatic watch is between 9pm - 3am, that's on the far outside but it's possible to damage the date gears which then exhibit the problem you have.

    Hey Teaklejr

Was your watch still under warranty when you sent it in?
