    Suggestions for my first Oris

Hi guys, looking at purchasing an Oris, they seem to have great 'bang for buck' and have a ton of models. I love the look of the Atlier calibre 111, the size is nearly perfect at 43mm and 12.3mm thick. I'd prefer 40-42mm and 11mm thick... looking for a versatile watch, I dress casual at work and at home, but find most casual watches are too thick to fit under cuffs easily, thus I focus on thickness more than diameter.....($2500 or less, new, use, or grey) any suggestions?

    Thanks!
    David

Hard to go wrong with the Big Crown ProPilot. at 41mm it's in your sweet spot, and also has the ability to be dressed up or down. if you're feeling a little sporty, the GMT version is also pretty awesome. No grey market on this forum

I was also going to recommend the Big Crown PP at 41mm. The GMT version is 45mm I believe, and is stunning. If you like complications, you could look at the Artix complication moonphase models. Really hard to go wrong with any of their lines. I have the 38mm Big Crown Hunter and absolutely love it. Looks great on the bracelet and dresses up with leather. Also looks killer on a NATO. Good luck!

I'm mostly a diver guy myself but one of the aviation range seems to meet your needs the best.

The Propilot GMT is a great way to go. Msrp is $2200 ish so you should be able to get a deal from an AD on it.

At your price point you're about 100-200 USD away from a gray market Omega Seamaster. With all due respect, and I respect Oris, with such budget you should get the Omega.

Just bought one of these. It really is an incredibly well-designed watch. Perfect size too.
