What do you think about the new Williams day/date?

I passed by the oris counter a few days ago and just saw the new Williams day/date. The seller said he only had the blue dial with bracelet so I tried this one on my wrist. I'm an F1 fan so this model really turn me on! I've never had Oris's motorsports line before and this may be the first one.

However, I wanna see some reviews on this particular model before I pull the trigger. Besides, the Big Crown original pointer date (black dial) is still in my wishlist. I know the Williams and the BC are different kind of watch but I can buy only one at this time.

I really like that Oris put the Willams wording on the side of the case.

I think the blue dial on rubber looks great. I'm not sure about the "W" on the dial. It already has williams on the side of the case.

A very elegant sport watch ! Most of these are too childish in my opinion but this one does the job.

It looks really nice. Good balance between sport attitude and elegance.

I think this is a great looking update on the previous models. The dial looks clean with easy time read. I love the cut out detail above the crown for the Williams wording. Our local AD has both blue and black dials and each looks good. My only turn off, without having tried one on yet, is the case shape at the lugs. It looks limiting for strap options, having said that, Oris steel straps are great. I have the earlier model with hinged lugs on the watch case and this is very comfortable for my small wrists. Mine has been very relaible so i imagine the new one will be too. Overall I think the new Williams is a winner and I look forward to getting a closer look at some point.

If I'm honest it doesn't send me wild. Normally I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to Oris watches but this one strikes me as a bit, I dunno. Bland looking?

I really like the simplicity and how legible the dial is. I prefer the black dial version over the blue though. What's the case size?

Why not combine the Big Crown original pointer date (black dial) and this watch's features and get a Big Crown ProPilot Day/Date?
