what's the best modern Oris Chronograph?

    Guys
    which one is better?:)
    Artix GT or Williams?

I really like the shape of williams body. But Artix goes with nicer rubber and leather straps.

Better is an individual choice. The Artix is sportier with the black bezel and red accents, while the Williams is a bit more refined with a cleaner dial and blue notes. Although the Artix case is more conventional and, if important to you, allows for easy strap swaps. Both have their own innovative designs elements: the Artix small seconds indicator, the Williams the zero-point orientation of the sub-dials. The overt Williams branding may be off-putting to some. I think they share the same movement (Sellita base?) but don't quote me, you'd have to check.)

I have always liked both, but the Williams has a cleaner presentation.

What's the best modern Oris? The Aquis Depth Gauge IMO.... I like the pro diver moon phase too.

but of the two you have here, the Williams. They are similar designs but to me the Artix looks like many other watches, the Williams just has a little something special to it.

Like Mitch says, "best" is a totally personal thing. I must admit I like the look of that Williams though. Best Oris chrono (now they don't make the Carlos Coste "Nemo") is probably the Depth Gauge.

Of those two, my vote goes to the Williams for sure.

My current faves though are the new ProPilot Chronograph with anthracite sunray dial, and in the Williams range the limited edition carbon fibre version:

Just a note about the Williams in the OP, I purchased that model with very high hopes but ended up returning it. The blue hands in person were nowhere near as vivid and vibrant as they are in the pictures, they just didn't have the pop against the black dial that I expected them to. As a result I found the appeal of the watch to be reduced significantly and ended up returning it. To be clear I had the standard black dial, not the carbon fiber version which is pictured in post #8.
