    Montblanc glass nib?!

    Regards to all,
I found this at local auctions,
I'm interested in what you think,
    Is it the original?
    Thanks for your time.

I'm not aware that MB made glass dip pens. If they did, i would guess it was a promotional item. If you like glass pens, go for it, but keep in mind that glass dip pens can be had for under $10.

Highly doubtful that is a MB product but certainly worth an email to MB customer service to ask.

The other discouraging factor is that the packaging is junk. That's unfinished pressboard.

Besides the glass Montblanc paperweight (?) thingy, are their any markings on the pen itself?

Looks like a modern glass dip pen and I am not aware of Montblanc producing these. Brands such as Herbin as well as Rohrer & Klingner produce glass dip pens that look very much like this for $30 or less each.
