    $0.11 NATO Strap (Quality comparison?)

And free shipping! I do love eBay :)
Does anyone have any thoughts on this brand? I did some researching while waiting counting down the time until I could snipe the band and the general consensus seems that Infantry makes good NATOs for the upper-single digit price ranges, but how much lesser of a quality is it from the likes of Maratac and Timefactors? How do they compare?

Thanks! The ebay link if any of you are curious is 20mm New Infantry Army Fabric Nylon Canvas Wrist Watch Strap Band Outdoor | eBay

My current reaction feat. Ralph Wiggum (I've never gotten anything for a 1.3% of its normal price):

i find the "Infantry" natos to be ok,
thick and tough but really stiff and plasticky...
and they will never "wear in" and get softer like other straps will...
not bad for what they cost but not near as nice as Maratac or most any of the brandless versions available on ebay.

i have a black version of the 2 piece strap that you linked and find it to be totally worth the 13 cents i paid for it...
it's thin and cheap and badly sewn and backed with plasticky fake leather...
but it actually looks surprisingly pretty good on a watch.

Let me know. I ordered one over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't arrived. I was told that even though the advertisement says they are located in New Jersey, they really are in Hong Kong or China.

Honestly though, does it matter? For $0.11 you could be like Nelly and his shoes, and just wear them just once.

Didn't know that about Nelly. What does he do with them after he wears them?

Hell if I know. I'm no fan of Nelly, I just remember that song from years ago about how he only wears shoes once. I guess I also could have referenced Friar Tuck from Rocket Robin Hood.

haha maybe I should have written that I was debating whether to spend more money on a better NATO strap than use the one I bought

At the very least, it'll give me good practice on removing watch bands :)

I have one of their camo zulu straps and have no complaints. It holds my watch and isn't irritating on my wrist. I guess I'm not very finicky or just don't know any better.

For $.11 there is no way you could go wrong. Shipping is way more than $.11. Heck, you may not even bother to bend over and pick up $.11 on the sidewalk.
