Just looking at my 20mm Paul, I'd say 1.8mm. My 2.0mm bars can go in but are tight.

The rubber on the Hirsch Performance straps is flexible enough to take Seiko Fat Bars, need a little lubrication to initially get them in but no issues after that.

We fit 1.8mm diameter bars to all Performance straps we send out, perfect fit.
