    22mm NATO on 21mm watch?

The Barton site says this: "For all of our NATO Style straps, we recommend using a 22mm width to accommodate watches with lug widths of 21mm. The 22mm NATO-style straps will typically squeeze into a 21mm lug quite nicely."

Does anyone have experience doing this that they'd care to share?

Rule of thumb is always go up on the strap width and not down on whatever lugs you are fitting it to if needed

    Example-

22 mm strap on 21 mm lugs, OK.
21 mm strap on 22 mm lugs, NOT GOOD

Makes sense -- too-small looks bad and might dislodge the pins. My question is really about how well the squeezing-down works.
