    After Market watch Strap

This question would apply to just about every other watch that I have ever owned. With standard leather, textile or rubber straps, the clasps only allow adjustment in about 1/4 inch increments according to the holes in the straps. If your comfort zone falls in between two holes then there's little you can do. I've been searching with little luck for a 18mm textile or maybe leather strap with a micro adjustable clasp. What after market products are available at a reasonable cost? Thanks in advance for your time.

Perlon straps are super adjustable. You can search that term on here or ebay and get some good ideas.

One-piece perlon often comes with a ladder buckle, so you can slide the buckle down a bit to effectively shorten the strap. That works fine with a one-piece strap because the watch head itself can be positioned wherever you want. It's trickier to do this with a two-piece strap because it can mess up the buckle positioning. You *might* be able to find a ladder buckle for a textile strap, but the strap has to be quite thin and flexible. All the ladder buckles I've ever seen are also pretty flimsy.

For leather...the reason perlon is so adjustable is, you're slipping the tongue through a weave that will spread. Hummmm....

    Braided leather.

I've got a question directed to an Etsy seller about a couple points on straps they make; haven't heard back.

Rubber and silicon with a deployant may allow cutting the strap to length, at the clasp.

Perlon is the easiest thing to buy. There are strap and deployment systems that don't use holes for the adjustment-- Tag and Breitling, maybe. Non-OEM versions are available on eBay and our sponsors.

If you're going the Perlon route, I think many users here will swear by Eulit perlon straps. Can't really go wrong with them, as their braid tightness/consistency and quality of the thread is very good.

You can also experiment with different size and style buckles for any given leather strap to help fine tune the fit.
