    Aluminum MacBook: 2 - 316L stainless bracelet: 0

Both of my stainless bracelets (Citizen Nighthawk and Steinhart OVM) have been thoroughly trashed by my aluminum MacBook. Brushing on bracelets has been polished at points of contact, while blasted (or whatever they did to it) surface of my MacBook shows absolutely no signs that it has been touched by anything. I have another watch with bracelet on order and I'm looking for a way to make them last a little longer.

Has anyone thought this through and maybe found some good adhesive transparent plastic that doesn't get trashed quickly or look totally awful on MacBook, while protecting the bracelet?

Does Apple offer any type of full board protection/plastic/etc? Might ask them, they have great customer service. What about taking off your watch when you use your notebook?

My OCD is too bad, I could never handle typing on a pad if it caused watch marks. Good luck.

The first scratch I got from the MacBook and out to the parking lot it would go so I could run it over three or four times with the car........

Oh man I know this feel. I had the same problem, my Macbook absoutely trashed the clasp on my Trident Pro. I actually changed the way I typed on my Macbook to where the bracelet doesn't touch the metal surface, it feels a little awkward at first but then it just becomes a habit. If that's not an option for you, there's a ton of vinyl wraps you can get for your macbook on ebay...

I just installed my palm guard on my MBP and it works like a champ. No more scratched buckles. Life is good. Carry on.
