    Artem sailcloth

Just got this sailcloth strap from Artem. I've been looking for a Fifty Fathoms style strap for the Seamaster and I think I've found it. I particularly like the rubber lining so I can actually take my dive watch into the water. I swapped the buckle for an Omega clasp I had laying around. Whaddya think?

Overall, the quality is very good. My 7.5" wrist wishes it were a 120/80 instead of a 115/75, but it's long enough to work.

Del: No I don't. I have uh... two dollars... and a Casio.

I don't know anything about Artem, but it does look good. One question, in the last picture, it looks like an embossed piece of leather, underlying the sailcloth and not rubber?

Looks great on your watch. Appears to be very well made.

    Enjoy it.

    Nope. Not leather. It's rubber.

Thanks for posting this, was just looking for a review of this brand.

While it looks great now, let us know a few months down the road if it still looks as nice. One gripe I keep hearing about too many sailcloth straps that use a nylon fabric, not the PVC printed looking stuff, is fuzzing/unraveling at the buckle pin holes. Hopefully this strap won't suffer that fate for what they charge.

I've been wondering that myself. I'm happy to be the guinea pig on this and will report back in a few months.
