Black PVD Strap Hardware on Blasted SS Case?

So I've got a Damasko DA44 in bare blasted stainless but my favorite style of strap (Nick Mankey Hook) doesn't have an option for blasted hardware. The brushed stainless hardware finish is too bright and not a good match for the Damasko case.

Would black matte PVD look strange? The watch itself has lots of matte black elements, bezel, dial but I always thought having strap hardware that doesn't match the case finish was a big no no. Thoughts?

I wouldn't hesitate having black pvd hardware, as it would match the bezel insert and dial.

It should look fine. The watch fashion police aren't going to arrest you

Try it. I will bet it will look better than you think it will.

    Good luck.

They do have an antique silver and brushed hardware now. That should work.
    Regret is unprofessional.
