ColReb Mud Brown - Ideal strap for black PVD watch

I had gone through 3 straps on my new Gavox Aurora PVD and none were working for me. I knew I wanted leather, so basically 3 colors are worn with PVD:

    • Black
    • Tan
    • Red-Brown
    • Dark Brown

My 4th strap ended up being the ColReb Mud Brown distressed leather 22mm/20mm made in Italy. It works perfect for a black PVD aviation/military watch (in my mind) because it has a hint of olive and a hint of black. This 3.5mm thick slab strap is reasonably priced (<$40), is very pliable and it fits on my wrist like a glove. With this larger 43mm watch I prefer to wear it fairly tight and up until now my experience with leather bands worn tight have not provided me a great deal of comfort. This high quality lush strap is extremely comfortable, even when worn snug.

I'm generally a bracelet wearer and am amazed with straps how look and fit absolutely impact perceptions of one's watch. This Gavox Aurora I bought a month ago was a nice watch, but not awesome. But now that I have found the perfect strap for it I love this watch.

Very nice with the watch. I have two DistressedColaReb bands, green and brn/tan. Love them both.

Are you using the stock shiny buckle? If so, does it bother you that it is not PVD like the watch?
