Just picked up an Ocean Crawler Lume Rush and want to be able to swap out the strap. Really like the Hirsch Robby and would like to get one, but I'm not sure it would work. The Lume Rush has curved spring bars for the leather strap that came with it and it doesn't have a second set of holes further from the case for straight spring bars like the Champion Diver that shares the same case design. Can you use curved spring bars on a non curved end strap the get clearance? Not sure if I'm stuck with only curved end straps. Anybody with experience to share would be appreciated. Thanks.
With a soft leather strap (especially if it's thinner down properly for the spring bar holes), curved bars can net you some extra clearance. With a rubber strap like the Hirsch Robby, I wouldn't expect it to make any difference at all.
