Curved spring bars - what size?

I want to order some curved spring bars and not sure what length to get for a watch with 22mm lugs.
1.8 mm Regular Double Blade Shoulder Curved Stainless Steel Spring Bars

This is the part that confuses me:

    • Come in 7 different lengths: 13 mm, 16 mm, 18 mm, 19 mm, 21 mm, 22 mm, 26 mm
    • **Note** Sizes are determined by the compressed length of the spring bar

Probably a dumb question but do I need the 22mm spring bars for 22mm lugs?

    That would be my guess.

Re: Curved spring bars - what size?

I ordered curved spring bars from eBay before and they are a bit too short so they don't have a secure fit at all. I suspect some sellers just make the curve themselves and sell 22mm straight spring bars as 22mm curved bars.

I ordered the curved bars from Esslinger so I am curious how these compare to the cheap ones from eBay and the ones that came on my Chr Ward watch.

I have found that curved spring bars do absolutely nothing. Some 22s will be to short but most will fit just fine.

I got some from strapcode that worked just fine - 20mm listed for 20mm lugs.

I received them today and the 1.8mm bars from Esslinger are so much better than the cheapos 1.5mm from eBay. They '22mm' from eBay are 1.5mm shorter than the '22mm' I got from Esslinger.

Also got some straight bars and they are also good quality.
