Is it wrong to cut off the floating strap keeper? I have a number of nice custom straps from CF and ABP and because they are designed to fit my wrist the floating keeper does nothing useful and looks bad because the end point of the strap is basically hidden and the floating keeper has to be butted up right against the sewn in one.
I cannot seem to slide the floating one over the sewn in keeper on any of them....so the option is to cut them off. Has anyone else had to do this? I know I need to just do it but it feels bad to cut into an expensive strap.
