Picture Diaboliq Straps - mini review of leather + canvas strap

    Hi all,
Yesterday I received my second strap from Joe at Diaboliq Straps.
I am really impressed by the quality he is providing and the service given during the ordering process, he is a great example of how it should be when ordering custom made straps!
This time around I ordered one of his famous canvas straps, but I was after a bit darker color than the pictures I had seen so far, so he found some swedish ammo canvas and sent me a few pictures of it before he started making the strap, once completed he once again sent me some pictures for my approval and asked if I wanted it waxed (which would also make it a bit darker).
All in all a great process from start to finish - just like my previous strap from him...

The feel of the canvas (and leather) is just super comfortable and it has that great "vintage" vibe that is so difficult to get in a new strap, however Joe manages to get this out perfectly!!

Anyway, onto the pics! First a bunch of pictures of my newest acquisition on both my MKII Vantage and Kemmner 007, followed by a few pictures of the leather strap on the MKII Vantage.

I am very pleased with the straps and I am certain they will not be my last ones from Diaboliq, so please do not order anyone from him as I prefer to have a short lead time on my orders!

I wonder how a "reverse" one would look- One w/ canvas straps and leather keepers?

The strap actually comes with a few different keeps, two of the ones I received was leather. But the leather cut edges was not treated with wax so I need to give them a bit of oil/wax to get them to match the patina of the other leather sides.

However, the picture from Watchobsession show you an example of how it will look.

Does Diabolique have a website, other than a facebook page?

I'm after a new strap, but am new to the custom strap scene, and finding it a bit daunting that there is a bit of a lack of websites with lots of pictures and prices etc!
