    Difficulty removing spring bars

I recently bought a new Vostok Komandirskie, but I am having trouble removing the spring bars, if they even are spring bars. I can't see or feel the spring. The bar looks like a solid piece of metal. Does someone have experience with this problem?

    Greetings, Frank

Vostok springbars are typically shoulderless and pretty thick, similar to Seiko bars, they can be removed with a normal springbar tool. If you can't remove it one side try the opposite end.

You can also try using dental floss looped around the bar to remove if it is shoulderless.
