Which direction for the link pins?

I've just taken delivery of a lovely Christopher Ward Diver on a metal bracelet. I need to remove a couple of links to resize the bracelet. I have no issues doing this and have done so many times. Usually though the bracelet has an arrow on the removable links to indicate the direction to push the pins. This one doesn't so I'm not sure which way to go and don't want to do any damage?

They aren't split pins and if it is a pin and collar system I certainly can't see which end the collar is.

Solved it. The collar is in the middle of the link so it doesn't matter which way I push. These really are a bugger to get out!
