Dressy black strap for Sinn 556?

    Any suggestions guys?

I have the OEM brown croc effect with contrasting stitching but want something to dress it up a little?

Do you think a more shiny surface/finish rather than matt?

Croc effect or perhaps something a little different like the Hirsch "Rivetta" in black?

    Perhaps a nice Water Buffalo?

Either way i think I'd prefer to have the contrasting white stitching to compliment the white markers on the watch.

Of course pics or links always welcome!!!

    Cheers

I have a very nice black buffalo strap with a single cream/off white boxed stitch that is a real killer. The grain texture of the buffalo really gives the strap some depth. It is not a shiny or finished surface, more of a matt or stain look, but works very well against the polished case of the watch. I really like the buffalo straps, if they are real buffalo leather and quality made. They get more comfy the more you wear them. That is my vote.

Have you checked out the strap vendors listed as a sticky at the top of this forum?

Much to my embarrassment I haven't checked the forum sponsors out!!!

Thing is though, I'm in the UK and most US suppliers won't or can't ship animal skin, especially croc or aligator out of the country?
Unless I have that all wrong?

Meh, I order exotic hides in all the time from all over the globe, I have never had a customs problem. I just got an envelope full of bullfrog hides 2 days ago from Asia somewhere, got here in 4 days with no issues.

Were it a live baby crocodile, you'd probably have a problem. But a tanned and dyed piece of leather? Thats like saying you couldn't order a wallet or pair of boots online from another country, but you can.

I'll have a looksey around and see if I can get something that I can't get in the UK or at least for cheaper?
Meanwhile...any suggestions on specific straps anyone?
