    Expansion band removal help

    Hey guys,

After several failed google attempts, I need some help with removing expansion links from my swatch. I haven't found any similar thread here and on google, it only shows adjusting the links of an expansion strap, not removing it whole. I'm sure that's possible, right?

It looks simple, looks like i just gotta remove those hook like things from the spring bar but i don't want to force it,break it. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

It looks like the lugs are drilled through, which would normally make bracelet removal very straightforward. I could go into detail here, but those pesky claws look like an integral part of the case, which changes everything. Maybe others have had some experience, good luck.

They are but for some reason they don't just come off like any other drilled lugs,I've tried. It feels like i'm using force for no reason as they do not move.
And Yes, those claw like things make it confusing.

    Thanks for you reply.

Although it looks like a straightforward band design, I would take it to a pro to have it sized correctly, as those claw prongs look tricky. Best left to an expert, IMHO.

Guys, I took it to swatch and the guy removed it.It's just the basic push the spring bar through the drilled lug but you just gotta use a bit too much force. They just made it look complicated.

Did it myself now But here's the problem. I was thinking to put a NATO strap on it just to see how it looks.Turns out you CANNOT put any other strap other than the ones by swatch. The pics will demonstrate why

Those separators are part of the watch. This kinda sucks. The guy at swatch said most of modern swatches are made that way.

    Anyway, chapter closed.
