    Frequent band change/switch

Would often changing (~once per month or as per need) of watch band/strap from ss to leather and vice-versa, for purpose of change in occasion viable? I mean i can wear the same watch with a SS strap for casuals and leather band for some occasion...I got Longines St Imier Chrono with SS strap and i plan to buy the leather band.

Not only viable, but as far as I'm concerned, highly recommended. I'm biased to starp changes obviously, but that said, changing a watch strap properly does nothing to harm the strap or the watch, and will actually prolong the life of leather straps, as you're not using them on a constant basis.

I changed five straps today on some watches. It's like changing ties with the same suit... it gives the watch an entirely new look.

Agree with 'highly recommended' and would add that it is just as easy as tying a four-in-hand. Plenty of instructional videos on youtube and good step-by-step instructions in threads on this forum (there is one started yesterday or today with a video embedded in a reply). I change a strap once every couple of weeks on average and I just use the little screwdriver from my eyeglass repair kit.

Part of the fun is mixing up the look of the watch with a different strap now and them.

I'm a total strap-swapper. It's an easy way to give a watch a whole new look...bracelet to leather to rubber to zulu...I mean, why not?
