    GA-1100-1AJF Strap Removal Help?

    Hey All,

I want to put an orange strap from a GA-1000-4A onto a GA-1100-1AJF but I can't figure out how to get the strap off properly.

    • One guy told me to jam a spring bar tool under the part where the strap meets the timepiece but I bought one and that's not working.
    • Then another guy told me that I need a mini-screwdriver set to work one screw on the side of the strap while I hold the other motionless with another screwdriver but I bought a cheapo kit with two mini-screwdrivers and three precision screwdrivers and tried that but it's not working. The heads of the screwdrivers are too small and will not spin the screw.

    Any ideas?

These are the screws I need to remove. There is one on each side so I need to (I think) hold one steady and unscrew the other side

This is the look I'm going for (from the back)

And this is how it looks on the front (hopefully mine will have that orange strap soon)

Thanks in advance for any advice

Looks like it needs the specialized G-Shock tool, but you might consider re-posting this in the "Citizen/Seiko" forum of this site for more responses.

Considering that it's a Casio G-Shock, maybe the Casio G-Shock forum would be a better choice.

It takes a small allen wrench. remove the four screws you are pointing too. Just remember the sequence on spacers on the screw. Very easy job.

Yeah, just remove the four screws you pointed out and remember the spacer sequence. there are little metal pieces laying in the band that the screws go through. don't lose them.
