Hamilton Strap search: where do you go?

    Hey gents,

I'm trying to find the hamitlon strap found in this photos

I've talked to Old Skool and he's said it's actually a Hamilton strap. Great. I found it on the hamilton website and then here
    http://www.watchbands.com/ProductInf...id,,H600705102

but the photo looks like a much lighter shade than the Canvas strap in the above photo or in the photo on the Hamilton site.

Can anyone advise where they shop for Hamilton straps? A site that doesn't charge a trillion dollars to ship 20grams worth of strap would be great too

btw, I just got my Breitling CE today and have put it on a Ocean Racer strap. It's pretty sweet

One thing I have found to be nearly always true is that you cannot judge the color of anything on your computer screen. I have seen pictures of the same watch straps taken under different lighting conditions and they look like completely different straps, so it is quite possible that the strap in both pictures you posted is the same strap. In fact, looking at the Hamilton site, they only make one strap that color, but in two different lengths.

BTW, that X-Wind looks great on that strap.

i have that strap, and let me tell you its the BEST nato ive ever owned. Its stamped "HAMILTON" and has a serial number (or maybe model number) and is lined with super soft leather.

Wish i had a camera to snap a picture.

It is a light color, and will get dirty fast. just an FYI.

    good luck!

I wouldn't use NATO on an Xwind. It's a chunky watch, thin Nato won't look that great. It need a fat leather strap.

Strap on pict looks like Morellato. I have used Morellato sand on Ham Conservation and it's fantastic. But agree that X-wid are too robust for canvas strap.
