Actually, I did one for my Samurai.

Curved end strap with straight spring bar, it is a fun project. A pair of tiny plastic inserts are made to get the curved end. To get the right size and shape is not a easy task. The fat Seiko spring bar did not help at all. Because of the plastic insert, it only works well with drill-thru lugs. If you don't have the watch, it would be very difficult to check the fit. I am kind of in between buying a Hirsch Medici or custom made for my 45mm PO. The problem for Hirsch is that they use 1.5mm spring bar, it is on the thin side for a big watch. The stitches are not up to the case close enough. it looks like it is missing 1 or 2 stitches. Beside, I want to use OEM rubber strap buckle, which has a 7mm wide tongue. I will probably do few test straps next week to see if it is possible.

    regards
