    Help I.D. this Strap Please

    Hey Everybody,

Coming to you for help, your the best of the best and my fingers are crossed

I've searched all the "usual suspect" retail sites, as well as those that are sponsors of this site.

I've used the forums search function many many times and searched many many previous threads and posts looking for a similiar color schemed strap but to no avail.

    Nothing has even come close.

Hoping maybe someone will recognize it, or have a friend with the same strap and willing to make a phone call for me.

Attached is the photo, its your typcial heavy nylon nato style band but the brown with a thin orange stripe color scheme has had me scratching my head since last October looking everywhere, getting nowhere lol.

    Please help.

Can't help too much but the watch is made by Freestyle, their Hammerhead Diver model.

That type of strap is generally known as a "Nato combat strap".

You might also try searching under the name "Zulu' strap.

Never seen one of those either, but it is nice.

It's actually not a quartz Freestyle lol, it has a Swiss eta automatic 2824-2 movement, pseudo ruhla mod by ray wong. Tough as nails British SAS SBS military beater of a watch.

Thanks Dan, both of those are pretty close, I greatly appreciate the effort. Something to consider at least. Just can't seem to find anything that matches the unusually thin stripe or the drab brown color.

The f71 project nato strap is the closest I've found but theirs an extra stripe and third color on that strap. Bertucci makes a similar brown/orange strap as the one in the second link you posted.

I honestly wasn't expecting this to be such a mystery and thought for sure someone would get this in a day or two at best.

Re: Help I.D. this Strap Please

Autumn is upon us and I REALLY need some help finding this strap for my Ray Wong which is my everyday watch for Sept-Nov. It's not one of his stock straps and he was unable to place the aftermarket maker.

Sorry for all the bumps, but i know my only chance lies within the people of this fine forum.
