Help me pick the perfect band for vintage Seiko

    Hello guys

I purchased a late 70s Seiko not long ago, and went with a 18MM distressed suede blacelet.
This is one of my watches that I like to wear with a more formal attire, so I don't think my original choice was the best I could come up with.

I would like to stay away from brown, as I have a few others that I used when I want to do so... despite this watch looking great with a brown band!

I was looking for a black leather nato or a dressier leather band. Maybe something with a very subtle blue accent or a gray accent? I don't know.
Nothing too expensive - don't want to overspend in this one.

So please help me out and suggest some good 18mm options! Thanks!

Would help a bit if you posted lug width so people had a better idea where to go with it but the pics help a lot so appreciate that! You could try a colareb Roma Colareb.it.20mm ROMA blue band. They have a vintage look that goes well with this style of watch but are still dressy enough in my opinion. They also have a black option if you feel like the blue is too strong. Something like this would also be a little different but could work as well 20mm RIOS1931 for Panatime Ocean Blue "California Sport" Genuine Saddler's Leather with Match Stitching 114/82 20/18. Don't forget to check the stickies in the forum though, rare is the day someone in there doesn't sell what you need.

Hey Karkarov, thanks for the feedback!
Pertaining to your Q, the band needs to be 18MM (as per original post)

I'm usually not a fan of them but in this case I think a notched leather strap would make it appear dressier.
Something that starts off at the lug width (outer lug, not gap between the lugs) tapering down to the original 18mm.

Try Holbens Fine Watch bands. The Buffalo Fluco band is nice. This one is dark blue:
