Help me pick a strap for an Oris Big Crown Pro Pilot Grey Dial

    Hello strap experts,

After confirming that I'm not a bracelet man, I'm looking for a nice strap to put my new Oris BCPP on. It's this model: https://www.oris.ch/en/watch/oris-bi...063-07-8-20-19

Currently I have it on a brown minimal stitch strap, and I think it looks good but I think it would go better with something else:

    Straps I've looked at:

The Fluco Pilot Aviator - I like this one but think it might be too casual, I'm trialing this as my every-day work watch:

This strap at WatchGecko - Looks decent but wonder if something else would fit better:

Any ideas? With the grey dial it seems like almost any color would work, making this a tougher choice! Thanks!

Personally I would recommend this strap.

    Kenner | Crown & Buckle

You could go with black but a lighter brown might look a little better than that minimal stitch strap you got it on now.

I didnt like any of the black strap options i tried pairing with my grey dialed Steinhart but I just got this light brown strap below and think it compliments the grey dial really well. You might have similar luck

I would also recommend a heavier strap then that brown strap you got it on now. Thats a beefy pilot watch. I think it helps matching the weight.

Thanks, that looks great but I should've mentioned I'd like to keep this pretty affordable, so under let's say $30 for the strap if possible.

Thank you, really nice strap but I think I'd like to keep this to leather. Would look at other materials but don't think rubber is the way I want to go for this.

If only looking to spend $30, Id reconsider getting rubber as someone recommended. But I would instead recommend an ISOfrane-styled rubber strap. Look at Deep Blue for this strap. Its nice and thick so would really match this watch and stay in budget.

Tbh, $30 is too cheap if looking for a special leather band. Id put a min. of $60 in your budget if going this route.

That is a very nice-looking strap, too rich for me at this stage unfortunately. I'll keep that seller in mind for the future though.

I see your point, but at least at this stage when I'm not certain of what I want I'd like to keep the budget lower. Down the road I could see myself splurging on a nicer strap. I also think you're right, I need a thicker strap for this guy - how thick are we talking? The strap I have it on now is listed as 2mm thick - would 4mm be good, in your opinion? Thanks!
