Home made deploy strap # 2 - more mistakes

OK, so my first decent result went well enough - This second try however had one major mistake and some little ones. I wanted to make a thick strap, but this one is overkill. At the watch end it's borderline (it's thankfully on a chunky watch) but at the buckle it's way too thick. I actually had to shave down the strap to fit! The stitching was almost on the mark, but with a bit more practice I think I can get it perfect. Despite these missteps, I am very happy with the 'look' - I plan to essentially remake this one, just thinner!

Wow great job!! How did you get the edges black and sealed like that?

Hey, I used this edging product . The packaging in this photo looks quite different than the product I purchased (admittedly the smaller container) but the product name/description seems correct.
