How do I reattach a clasp?

I'm not sure how or why the clasp got de attached from the actual bracelet. Can anyone explain how to reattach it and point me in the right direction?

I've searched the forums and Google but am not sure what keywords to type in.

I am familiar with spring bars and the typical bracelet stuff but have never dealt with a clasp.

Anyways here's a picture of the current clasp and bracelet Name: IMG_9290.JPG

Did the left side of the clasp break? If you look the right side is a full circle but the left side is a half moon. I've never seen that before so I'm assuming yours broke

I suspected that too but the other bar that's in place directly above that has the same set up. One side has a full circle and the side directly across it has a half circle.

I just never looked in the past so I can't say for sure if it should be like that or it somehow broke.

I emailed Deep Blue since it's an OEM deep blue bracelet.

If anyone knows some terms for all this it would be greatly appreciated.

I'll update if I figure it out or get a response from Deep Blue

Sure looks like a manufacturing defect. How old is it?

Did you simply lose the springbar that holds the clasp together?

Agree. Something does not look right. If not a mfg defect, then maybe an alignment problem?

This is approximately one month old.

And not sure if any bar is/was there but I can't find it if there was one.

I imagine I'll get a response from deep blue this coming business week. I sent them the same pictures.

Definitely a manufacturing defect on one side of the clasp. Springbar probably fell right out. Here are some pics of normal clasp from Master 1000

I'm sure deepblue will send you a replacement.

Thanks, that makes it much easier to realize what happened. That makes sense.

I'll just wait on deep blue to give me a response now.
