Does anyone have any experience with single shoulder spring bars/shoulderless springboard? I have two watches with them that do not have drilled lugs (I have no idea why the company did this)
I could not remove the spring bars with my spring bar tool since there was nothing to grab onto, so I resorted to breaking them off.
The first watch only had a canvas strap that I didn't care much for, so I cut if off to expose the spring bars, and then carefully cut the spring bar in half til it came off, then added a new leather strap.
for the second watch however, I don't want to damage the strap. I wish to put it aside for later use, but can't figure out how to remove the spring bars with out damaging anything.
How should I go about this?
