How to remove stuck spring bar?

    Hi,

I'm having trouble removing the spring bar of an Orient Mako.
As you can see, the spring bar is bent, so I can't remove it.

Do you think any way to extract them properly?

I can't find any Orient Mako endlinks, because removing the endlink could be an option.

Yeah, cut one end off and replace it.

I'm curious, is it supposed to be bent to fit the lugs, or did you bend it while removing the bracelet?

If you have some needle nose pliers, you can simply grab one end of it and twist it to straighten it enough to pull it out.

Pull out the springy ends with a needle nose pliers. Insert two small metal rods to straight it out by hand. Get new spring bars.

Agree. Probably the best and safest way to get it out without damaging the bracelet.
