I Get It Now - Shell Cordovan is Grrrrreat

Having owned many-a-strap in the last few years, I finally gave into curiosity on the whole Horween Shell Cordovan leather idea and bought one of these straps. I got it from Fluco, so it was about $90 with shipping.

I’m impressed - this thing is really nice, it’s super thin and pliable but feels tough - comfort is a notch up from anything I’ve worn...and it smells good too!

    I get it now.

I wear shell cordovan dress shoes. Good stuff. Lasts forever. Hard wearing stuff. Haven't had it as a watch strap yet, but that may change soon.

I own shell cordovan shoes, watch straps, and my wallet. For durability it's hard to beat. Still it's not really my favorite strap leather. If you don't like deployment clasps then it's arguably the best way to go as you won't have to worry so much about the wear associated with taking the strap on and off.
